The Vegetable Garden of Cangallo is closely associated with "The Shared Table" project, even though not a direct beneficiary. The Vegetable Garden resulted from the enthusiastic response from the local community of Cangallo once their Children's Kitchen was functioning. It has been funded generously through the Ballarat Diocese, and the Parish of Benalla in the Bendigo Diocese.
SECOND STAGE
In the foreground, the second phase of the garden which Andres will soon have completely transformed into terraces. In the background, the settlement of Motupe stretches itself out.
Michael McKinnon is a catholic priest from the Diocese of Ballarat, Australia who worked with the Columban Mission Society on the edge of the city of Lima, Peru from 2004 to 2010.
